Child holding balloons outdoors

Responsible Use. Smarter Choices.

Thoughtful planning matters at every stage of a campaign, from selecting materials to handling products after an activation. Through Globallgreen, we share practical guidance to help brands and their audiences use, care for, and dispose of balloons and inflatables responsibly. Reuse and recycling options depend on the product, its condition, and the facilities available locally.

Smart Practices

Keep balloons securely weighted.

Secure each helium-filled balloon individually to a suitable weight. Keep balloons under control and away from power lines, and follow the product instructions when setting up your display.

Never release balloons outdoors.

Keep balloons contained throughout your activation. Released balloons can become litter or get caught in power lines. Include collection and appropriate disposal in your event plan.

Collect and dispose of deflated or broken balloons.

Children under eight can choke or suffocate on uninflated balloons or broken pieces. Adult supervision is essential. Collect broken pieces promptly and keep them out of children's reach.

Be aware of natural rubber latex allergies.

Natural rubber latex can cause allergic reactions in people who are sensitive to it. If latex is a concern for your audience or venue, tell our team before selecting a product so we can discuss materials and review the relevant specifications with you.
